Pics of Islander Toy

Well, actually, it has more of a statuette feel with the 3d printing technology, which is very cool by the way. There is actually a process that manufactures the figure directly from a 3d model, colors and all. These pics taken in Dave's back yard! Pretty neat!

    Hey guys! thanks! we're back to number one! WOW! That is a surprise! Yes, you'll notice there is definitely a fuzzy texture to the toy...actually kind of like a stone. We knew that would be the case because we'd seen samples online. But yes, its a 3d printing process which creates it with process that solidifies colored powders and then hardens it (rather than normal toy manufacturing, which takes a lot of time). We saw that the Spore folks had done it and we wanted to get something quickly to give to certain people at the Game Developer's Conference this week. Just so you know, they cost us about 85 bucks a piece, so that is the value of the prize! :)

    Hey bolt, what if you guys created an update that puts a basketball hoop on the tree? then the pigmies can use the coconut as a ball, and you can use the pigmies as a ball ^_^ I hate basketball, but i think it would be a fun update like Hi Dracula! which was based on iDracula that was #1 while pocket god was #2. Tell me what you guys think!
