This is by far the biggest delay in an update, but in conjunction with the release of the comic, its out! This update includes a new area, Ape Mountain, where you can perform a terrible sacrifice ritual to bring out the giant ape...and then its feedin' time! We've also added another skin pack, where you can change various items to pay homage to old school video games.
But the big news is the PG comic is now up on iTunes....help us get it in the rankings. Its only 99cents (US) which is lower than we initially expected! Thanks guys.

great update alot of waiting but it is great loved the comic and the new skin pack hope the next update doesnt take that long again consider my next update name "one ape, two apes, three apes, mad apes!!!. How can i get the jet pack if i live in mexico there are no comics stores in my city and i dont think they will have the poster and 6000 oogles is alot for me what. an i do??? please help
ReplyDeleteI found another problem. When you put a Pygmy at the bongos or the crank and then switch islands they are still there but invisible, basically. If I go to let's say, the rock island after I had the pygmies in worshipping positions, then I lift up my poke-egg and when I drop it I hear a Pygmy splash into the water and it acts like it hit something. Then I summon the T-Rex and it eats a Pygmy that I couldn't see until it picked it up off the ground.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the new update! I love the new island and it's fun trying to figure out how to summon the giant ape. I understand why the updates take as long as they do but it's ok... they are well worth the wait. Personally I think adding the mini games was a great idea and probably my favorite feature of the game. I think it would be cool if there was a mini game on ape island to. But I'm sure you guys already have something awesome planned. Also I bought the digital comic and rated it 5 stars. It's really an awesome comic and the best one I have ever read. Thanks again and keep up the great work!

I've got the torches lit, a pygmy on the wheel, one on the alter (all wound up so the skulls eyes light up), and one on the drums, and nothing is happening. The directions say tap your finger to get the pygmy to play the drums but when I tap nothing happens... HELP!

to make the ape appear;
ReplyDelete1. make the sky cloudy and zap the 2 torches with lightening.
2.drop a pygmie onto the bongos, the sacrifice altar, and the crank.
3.touch the crank, and rotate in a clockwise motion until the altar is fully raised and the skulls light up.
4.tap the bongos and the ape will come.
5.tap the torches to put them out and the ape will go away
