If you guys ever do make a mini game or anything that results from turning the screen upside down and making the pygmies fall into the sky, you could make it so that you have to keep the ipod/iphone upside down and it should rain constantly because of all the water falling upwards out of the ocean and maybe the occasional shark or fish could fall past.
ReplyDelete@The Sock, I love your idea about making the pygmies grow/shrink. It would be funny to see a giant pygmy clog up the top of the volcano or a tiny pygmy getting chased around by other pygmies or rolling around on top of a coconut.
@Puppy Lover #1, Stop coming up with reasons why an idea won't work and try to come up with ways for a new idea to interact with what is already in the app. Be constructive rather than dismissive and we might see some strange new ideas that the devs never thought of adding.
congratz...you'll continue to succeed in my view of it. i'll have a review up soon!
ReplyDeleteGreat job for the award! (i voted for you)
ReplyDeleteheres a suggestion:
Name: Wait— Who Am I?
Details: if you go to the pygmy stats screen, and change their name, their appearance changes too! For example: if you name a pygmy "Marvin" he would look like an alien (thats the alien from looney tunes). If you name him "Mr. Roboto" he would look like a robot. If you name him "Dr. Professor" he would have a lab coat. And etc. But they wouldn't be obvious, they would be tricky to discover. Also, they would act EXACTLY like regular pygmies. even when they die, and get re-spawned, they still have the appearance (as long as they have that name)
and one mare thing: could you make the pygmy's name's character limit longer please?
congrats you did it yayyy lol. i love pocket god. im so glad it one tht award. there will never be an iphone app like it. EVER. your awsome
ReplyDeletecongratulations:D
ReplyDeleteWoah!!! Guys, here in the UK, you were not even in the top 50 a couple of days ago. Now, however, you guys are number one on the mobile AppStore featured list! And -bang! You are now #10 on the Paid AppStore!!
ReplyDeleteMatt, I'm not trying to just find faults in peoples ideas!!!! I'm telling them where there may be a small difficulty in production and if it will clash with current Pocket God abilities in the game. I don't do this to 'dis' anyone or make people's lives miserable. I do this to show them where they can be MORE creative. I'm trying to help people by doing this. I'm bringing out creative oportunities for them. This makes people think and create solutions to their problems. I never said that any of these ideas weren't good, or shouldn't have anything to do with anything. And I have been constuctive with people's ideas. I have given suggestions and other advice. I understand why you might think this, and how you could too. 'Flip the world, and everyone is in the sky' I say. To make it short and sweet, I point things out so that people can think of new things to make the old things better. Yes, a lot of the time I fail to put in any suggestions to help with an idea. I try to put them in, but sometimes it is harder than it looks to put in a good thing to make a great thing better. In other terms, most of these ideas don't need this. But if you want me to, I will gladly think of suggestions to help with every idea I see. For example, the sock, I think it would be great to have the pygmies grow and shrink. The idea of them clogging the volcano, genious!!!! I also think that it is a good idea for the other pygmies to squish the tiny pygmy. It would be funny to see a tiny vampire attacking the others harmlessly, or a giant vampire attacking the T-Rex. There is a lot that could be done with this idea because it has a lot of potential. Keep at this one the sock, it could be one heck of an update some day. ;) I will give constructive and problem point-out suggestions to every idea. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is very cool that you guys won the award!!!!! Good job!!!!!!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with matt, puppylover#1 should treat better other commenters, every idea she/he sees, she/he critizies it like "The sock, your idea...but it has a few problems" and then comes a paragraph of why it is a bad idea to have giant or small pygmies. But then, the idea of the shark, which is the stupidest one i have seen until now, they just say its the best and have the imprudence to impose conditions to Allan and Dave if they remotely happen to do it "...they HAVE to use the fish as bait.",i mean, who do they think they are telling Bolt Creative what to do or not. And then, they put like 3 comments on each thing Allan posts (2 to advertize their useless idea and 1 to criticize the other ones).
ReplyDeleteOkay,i needed to take that out.
Hi Allan and Dave. I made a help blog for Pocket God and I was wondering that can I copy the icons for each update and put it on my Pocket God help blog? Like every time a new update comes out I can post the icon? If I can just leave a comment on my help blog.

i want to post a wallpaper on your blog. Can i send it to your email? GREAT game by the way!
ReplyDeleteFandres23, A few things. One, I am a boy so you don't have to say he/she. Two, I didn't tell pocketgodlover123 to post stuff like that to promote the shark idea, I actually told him to stop posting like that. And three, pocketgodlover123 wasn't telling Bolt Creative what to do by saying you have to put the fish on there as bait to catch the shark. He was saying it like, 'you have to have the tv plugged in to watch it'. It was a suggestion not an order.
ReplyDeletePS: You are critisising me about being critical, so it's kind of funny in an ironic way don't you think? Also, if you read my earlier comment to matt, you know that I just want to drop this so we can all be friends. Okay? :)
Cool idea Adam. I like it. I just got a comment from molebobby14 about his own version of this on my blog. You can read the feedback I gave him on my blog.
