Our little Boneheads (oogmies?) seem to be getting around! Dave and I both are fans of the Creeps so we couldn't resist in agreeing to do another cross-promotion when Russell Bernau asked. This is a preview because I think the Russell is having the same trouble we are getting approved. It is an Easter Egg that you have to figure out how to trigger. We'll let you know when its released. Oh yeah, and its on sale for 99 cents!

ReplyDeleteHi! allan and dave! I have been thinking on the update and I think it´s because it´s not support for the 3.0 iphone software... in this two weeks every update I do say´s: support for 3.0 iphone software.
And I think In a New idea why not depending on what god you are the stone with the easter egg changes? and every one had a different form of sacriface.

Wait, I'm confused. So is this an Easter Egg in Pocket God, a whole new game, or a Pocket God Easter Egg in another game? I am so confused :P And I hate it when Apple takes so long to approve your updates :/

ReplyDeleteI believe that the reaaon that Apps are going through so slowly might be because apple might be setting iphone OS 3.0 tested apps first in line, and it might take longer to test for more than one platform. Just a guess though, i cant remember if pocketgod was tested for 3.0 OS.

ReplyDeleteU guys should be more carefully with Feint. On the Leaderboards you already what you can do in the next updates:
you can be Marshmallowed
you can drop off kids (there are KIDS!!!) at pool-->new location (and I think these kids fall in water and going to be drowned)
And some good news:
Tomorrow the software update for iPhone/iPod Touch is going to come out. It costs 10$ (about 7-8€ probably) so than hopefully the pocket god update comes as well

PS:How about the idea that you can play "Snake" with this harpoon? Then fishes are like normal food and when there is a oogmie it's a special bonus. That would be sooo lol XD

Hrmm... So is the Creeps update just a work in progress or is it already submitted? Going on vacation in a week and a half, so it'd be great if it was released by then.

ReplyDeleteMy fried who works at Apple has told me why it is taking so long to approve your app. Basically, Apple wants to churn out as many 3.0 apps as possible, so the apps which have been tested with 3.0 are approved the fastest. Apps tested with 3.0 have maximum 2 day approval cycles, whilst other apps just get pushed to the back of the line. So you guys are being bumped back and back and back by all the apps which have been 3.0 tested. Until you test with 3.0, chances are, Fun N' Games will not get approved for a VERY long time.
I have seen the proof of this in many cases. Tapulous, the makers of Tap Tap Revenge churned out two (seperate) updates in a different day, and each one added a new 3.0 feature. This is but one example taken from a sea of hundreds. Enigmo's update was approved in 7 hours.
So guys, you'd better start 3.0 testing.

Apple. I officially hate you. I can understand why if you haven't updated pocketgod because of 3.0, but come on! We have been on wait for 2.5 weeks. You could have had it done by now.
ReplyDeleteYAH YOU SHOULD DEFINATELY TEST FOR 3.0. If it has any chance of speeding up the Update time i say you should definately do it. If what he says is true then you need to do it soon. I would feel fine for you to not do an update for a week if it means speeding up the update process. Just to let everyone know, the Creeps easter egg is in the Game the Creeps. Just like how the doodle jump Easter Egg was in Doodle Jump
