Within the next few hours, the update on the store will be reverted. If you want to get Pocket God back, do the repurchase trick to get Ep 23 back. You won't be charged. Ep 24 and Ep 25 will be submitted in the next couple days.
If you have Ep 24 and Challenges are working, don't revert or you will lose the ability to challenge! Thanks, guys.
NEW NOTE: Hey guys. I accidentally deleted all the most recent comments again. Blogspot has one stupid glitch that you have to be careful of. I read that someone with 3.0 and the game working was confused if they have to revert. NO. If you have 3.0 and all is working, do NOT do the revert update.
NEWER NOTE: Looks like people missed the note in the app store and this blog and updated anyway. Sorry. we are resubmitting 24 and 25 ASAP. Dave found a link (a little too late) about the issue we ran into when adding 3.0 features to a 2.2 compatible release. Wish we had seen this earlier, but want to spread the word to other developers....CLICK HERE TO READ.

ReplyDeleteWell, my version reverted back to Ep 23 last night. I'm unclear on the comment '...don't revert or you will lose the ability to challenge!'. I'll assume that I'll be able to pick up on Ep 24, Ep 25,.... as normal. Is there anyway to force Ep 24 back onto my iPhone (it currently sits in my Trash)?

Rob, i'm not sure how you would get back Ep 24 if you did the revert update. Noah....we didn't intend for everyone to update. But we can't have people buying a crashing game from the iTunes store.

I won't ruin it for anybody... I didn't see this coming! Its going to be AWESOME!!! :-)
Going completely off-subject: I just had an idea and I think a few weeks and a few updates should be dedicated to this.. Instead of flooding the app with tons of new features that do a few things, how about making the features that are already there feel a bit more god-like. At the moment, the lightning can only strike the bird, and the pygmys. Have an update with the lightning being able to hit almost anything, (like if you let go your finger at the water, the shark might float up or if you let go of your finger at the island, there might be a scorched mark) and have more interactivity between everything, like the ant hill and the pygmys maybe climbing over it. This would give the players more things to experiment with, and the 2 major god powers that I have a complaint with are the earthquake and the tsunami. The earthquake needs to be more POWERFUL AND DESTRUCTIVE. And the tsunami should be a destructive and statisfying way to kill, not just a transition to the underwater place. I am done ranting now. :D
ReplyDeleteBolt Creative, when I was playing PG, in the underwater place U know how u LIFT the anchor and when it touches the ground it makes that noise well now when I lift it AS SOON as i let go it makes that noise & when it touches the ground NO NOISE
